Keith Ray- Pastor

Keith was born and raised in Northport, AL. Although raised in church and, despite being baptized as a child, he did not actually become a true follower of Christ until he was an adult.

In the days after his salvation, Keith had the privilege of being mentored and taught by a Godly retired minister. It was during this time in his life that he felt God calling him to preach. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Birmingham to attend Southeastern Bible College. It was while he was there, through a mutual friend, that he met and married his wife, Rebecca. After graduating Southeastern Bible College with a Bachelor's degree in Bible and Theology, he went on to obtain a Master's of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School.

Keith also has an Associates degree in Business from Shelton State College and served as an aircraft mechanic in the U.S. Navy. Keith's passion is Christ. He believes in strong Biblical teaching and Christ-centered worship.

Keith and Rebecca have two sons, Jonathan and Samuel. In his free time, Keith enjoys reading and SEC football, but most of all spending time with his family.

Jonathan's Journey is a blog about Jonathan's 105 day journey through the NICU @ Brookwood Medical Center.

Jeremy Powell- Interim Worship Pastor

Jeremy was born and raised in Lufkin, Texas. He was saved and baptized at the age of nine.  At 10 years old, he sung his first solo at his home church's children's Christmas program, "I'm Getting Nothing for Christmas." Since then he has sung in several southern gospel quartets, 4 on the Rock, Brush Arbor and Narrow Road Quartet just to name a few.

After graduating high school, he attended Angelina College where he studied music (vocal concentration) and mathematics.  After attending his first semester he felt God's call into ministry.  Not being well with words, he knew his calling was music. (It has been said he will be singing or humming and not even know it.)  Jeremy left for New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in July of 2005 only to return in August due to Hurricane Katrina.  While there he meet his future wife, Kellie, our children's/ preschool minister.

Jeremy and Kellie have one daughter, Olivia.  In his spare time you can find him at a classic car show, gardening, singing or playing music and spending time with his family both here and in Texas.

Kellie Powell- Children's/Preschool Minister

Kellie was reared in Pell City, Alabama and made a profession of faith at the age of 8. Active involvement in church was always a part of Kellie‚Äôs life.

During her college years, she began to feel the call to ministry but felt inadequate for the mission. Kellie began her schooling at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2005 where she met her husband Jeremy and graduated in 2008. God allowed Kellie to serve in churches in Alabama, Louisiana, and Texas in a variety of positions.

She married Jeremy (interim Worship Pastor) and moved to Texas in 2011 for 3 yrs. After the birth of their daughter in 2014, Kellie was excited that God called them back to Alabama.

Kellie, now resides in Pell City, with her husband Jeremy, and their daughter, Olivia.
